Step 1: Open Thunderbird and click on the "Email" button in the top-left corner of the window.
Step 2: Select "Create a New Account" from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: On the "Select Account Type" page, select "Email Account" and click on "Continue."
Step 4: On the "Your Name" page, enter your full name and email address. Then, click on "Continue."
Step 5: On the "Server Information" page, select "Automatically configure the account" and click on "Continue."
Step 6: Thunderbird will now attempt to autodiscover your IMAP server settings. If this is successful, you will be presented with a summary of your account settings. Click on "Finish" to complete the process.
If Autodiscover fails, you will need to manually enter your IMAP server settings.
To do this, select "Manually configure the server" on the "Server Information" page.
Enter the following information:
Click on "Test" to verify your settings.
Once you have verified your settings, click on "OK" to save them.
Step 7: On the "Outgoing Server (SMTP) Information" page, select "My outgoing server requires authentication" and enter the following information:
Click on "Test" to verify your settings.
Once you have verified your settings, click on "OK" to save them.
Step 8: Click on "Finish" to complete the process.
Your new email account will now be added to Thunderbird. You can now start sending and receiving emails!
